Obtaining a Converged Solution with Abaqus Training Course – ONLINE
oktober 20 @ 13:00 - november 17 @ 15:00EUR 980,00
To register for this ONLINE Training, please fill in the form below.
This course is recommended for users with experience in Abaqus who wish to become more proficient in reaching converged solutions.
The ONLINE training will continue at a minimum nr. of 3 persons, and will start at the 20st of October at 13.00 hours. The lessons take 2-hours each and will take place on every Tuesday for a period of 5-weeks starting on the 20st of October and ending on 17th of November. Simuleon has the right to propose another month to have the training, or to suggest a company specific training instead incase less than 3 persons will register.
This training is meant for experienced Abaqus users. If you are a beginning Abaqus user, you might want to consider following any of the introduction courses.
Possible convergence issues to solve
- Numerical singularities
- Zero pivots
- Negative eigenvalues
- Excessive yielding
- Element distortion
- Hourglassing or shear locking
This is what our customers experienced:
“We were able to learn why our analysis failed and how to check that, in order to find a solution. This course comes with both theoretical input as well as practical tips how to reach convergence”
“We are now able to identify modeling errors that cause convergence issues, and get a better understanding how non-linear problems are solved in Abaqus to be able to develop models that converge”
Who should attend
This course is recommended for users with experience in Abaqus who wish to become more proficient with reaching converged solutions.
The course will continue at a minimum nr. of 3 persons. If the amount is less, Simuleon has the right to propose another month to have the training, or to suggest a company specific training instead.
This course provides a useful insight in the theoretic backgrond of how non-linear problems are solved. You will learn how to develop models that will converge. You will learn to identify modeling errors that cause models to experience convergence difficulties. After this training you will be able to recognize when a problem is too difficult or too ill-posed to be solved effectively.
The course is divided into lectures, demonstrations and workshops
