Hands-on Workshop: Introduction to Optimization for Abaqus – April
April 24 @ 09:00 - 17:00Free
The “Introduction to Optimization for Abaqus Workshop” is a free event for anyone who has some experience with Abaqus and would like to explore the possibilities of optimization. Both non-parametric topology optimization using Tosca and parametric optimization using Isight are discussed, focusing on the optimization of problems using the finite element code Abaqus.
This workshop is an ideal way to understand what Tosca or Isight can do and find out how to set up such an analysis. Part of this workshop consists of lecture sessions, covering the essential concepts of optimization and how this is approached in Tosca and Isight. Furthermore the workshop gives the attendees the opportunity try setting up an optimization problem themselves, and gain hands on experience.
For who is this event?
For everybody who has some experience with Abaqus and would like to explore the possibilities of extending their current capabilities via optimization. This event is meant for commercial companies in Belgium, Netherlands or Luxemburg.
What topics are discussed?
The workshop gives theoretical introductions to Optimization, Tosca and Isight, and subsequently processes and approaches are introduced by hands on tutorial examples.
