This months webinar will look at the traditional shell elements in Abaqus and their definition, then run through what a continuum shell is, how it is defined and what it offers. Also discussed will be novel features like mapping thickness as a field and letting shell thickness vary in response to deformation. In a small update section the new CSS8 will be discussed.
